I began my acting career as a child in Jackson Heights, New York appearing in a production of H.M.S. Pinafore. I continued working in the theatre during High School as a McClancy Tyro. Later, I attended the State University of New York at Farmingdale and formed the Backstage Theatre Group. After college, I acted in a local community theatre. I joined SAG in 2005.
I have appeared in numerous background and bit parts in such projects as Elementary, Law and Order, Feds, Billions, 30 Rock, Inside Man, American Gangster, Music and Lyrics, Miracle at St. Anna, You're Nobody Till Somebody Kills You, The Happening, and Meet Dave.
I act both on stage and screen. I am also available for voice over acting and hosting. I continue to seek work behind the camera as a writer, consultant or producer. Please contact me and request my resumé for the details of my experience and skills.
I have 2 drama scripts and treatments currently available for review. I have previously written and produced the Easy Car Care DVD as well as several PSA's for the New York City Office of Emergency Management (OEM) and I am actively writing 2 additional scripted dramas, 2 unscripted reality projects, and a holiday-themed made-for-TV movie script.
I have written a pilot script, treatment, and 44 episodic story arcs based on my personal experiences as a First Responder. A Sanitation Supervisor that responded to the World Trade Center on 9-11-2001 and within hours of that tragedy, sent to work at the New York City Office of Emergency Management (OEM). The incidents I responded to and the people I met during those 5 years literally changed my life.
After retiring from OEM as the Quartermaster, I worked as the Facilities Manager of the New York City Council, overseeing 51 council offices, and the operations of City Hall. This exposure to politics helped me get elected to the New York State Assembly where I served for 12 years, authored over 30 laws, and chaired the powerful Consumer Affairs and Protection Committee. This lifetime of experiences has helped me to create some of the most unique and original characters.
